Nested in the hills, about ten kilometers north of Perkins and about thirty-five kilometers from the Byward Market in Ottawa ( roughly about thirty-five minutes drive in moderate traffic ) is our little place, mostly private, lost in an acre of woods, Le Pied dans L'O .

This modern little house/cottage (Four seasons) of about 1000 sqft (not counting the semi finished basement) has two bedrooms with an optional bedroom in the basement. Ample parking (about 6-7 cars)and an outside wooden shed.

You will find connections for satellite tv,(Bell). High speed optical internet available from Xittel.
The Kitchen is fully equiped except for the broken dishwasher. The Samsung washer and dryer are also included.

Season permitting:
Outside you'll find a very large deck, a boat with an electric motor ( the lake is an ecological one...no gas motors allowed ), a small beach with a fire pit and a dock to dive from to enjoy the lake. In winter, you could also create a skating rink.

The lake itself is never too busy even in the summer's peak season, hence very peaceful. We are not fishermen but some friends have told us that the fishing is good. You can catch pike, bass, perch and anything in between, especially by the mini waterfall that flows in the lake. Touring the lake in the electric boat is always a great pleasure. It takes roughly three quarters of an hour.
